An Interview With Lacy Lane

from other

Hi Eric,

Thanks so much for the chance to take part in an author interview with you. I’ve noticed your books on Kindle, and they look awesome 🙂

Here are the answers to your questions for your blog:

How did you get started with writing?

I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember, and actually had my first piece published at the age of 12 in a national scholastic magazine. Since then, I’ve written on and off for fun, but only recently entered the world of self-publishing. And I love it! Getting feedback from my readers is one of the most fulfilling parts of being a Kindle Author, and I love to hear what they have to say about my work.

Is there any particular process you use in your writing?

Typically, I come up with an idea while watching TV or walking my dog. I’ve been an avid “people watcher” for most of my life, and just observing those around me has given me a lot of ideas for my stories. I’m not as disciplined as I probably should be in my writing, to be totally honest. I tend to wait for inspiration to strike, and then write hard and fast until I have it all down.

What’s your favorite book?

Since I was a little girl, I’ve loved Stephen King and that hasn’t changed. I have reread almost all of his books, and own everything that he’s ever published (at least I think I do!). I also love Neil Gaiman Jodi Picoult. Weird combo, I know. If I had to pick one book to take with me to Death Row or a deserted island, it would have to be The Stand.

What’s your favorite book that you’ve written?

I have to say that I think From the Other Side was my favorite to write and read. It was a lot of fun, and ended up being much more in-depth than I originally thought it would be! I also enjoyed Donated and Changed, as it allowed me to tap into my naturally dominant side. And I loved adding a bit of suspense to my romance writing with Double Jeopardy.

What’s your favorite kink to write about?

When I was 16 years old, one of my best friends admitted to me that he felt as if he had been born in the wrong body. We talked and cried all night about his life and his future, and that was one of the most powerful experiences that I have ever been a part of. I’m happy to report that we are still dear friends, and he is now living as a woman and loving life! Ever since that night though, I have been fascinated with the transgender lifestyle, making it my favorite topic to explore and write about. Forced feminization and cuckolding are also slight obsessions of mine, and I am lucky enough to be able to live out both kinks with my boyfriend, giving me plenty of fodder for my stories!

Hope this was what you were looking for, and thanks again for reaching out!
