How did you get started with writing?
I’ve had weird kinks as long as I can remember and I was always drawing kinky pictures and writing kinky stories. I spent years looking for transformation stories, especially transgender stuff, but there weren’t many that satisfied me. Mainstream books, movies and TV were too tame and they always focused on the wrong things. I got sick of stories where some guy was turned into a girl and the “happy ending” was him getting turned back into a guy. There was nothing happy about that, as far as I was concerned! But I didn’t enjoy most smut fiction either. I wanted to read kinky transformation stories with characters you could actually care about. Smut with funny dialogue and interesting ideas. I just wasn’t finding many stories like that, so I decided to try writing some myself.
Is there any particular process you use in your writing?
I want to make it feel real, that’s a big thing for me. I fuss over my transformation scenes endlessly, trying to make the reader feel every little twitch and jiggle, and even during quiet scenes I’m always telling you how things sound or smell. I want to make the characters feel like real people too. Sometimes the plot comes first, you can write a fun story that’s more about what happens than the person it happens to, but it’s more satisfying to me when a character kind of takes over the story and surprises me. When a character really clicks for me it doesn’t even feel like I’m making them up, it’s more like I’m following them around and recording what they say and do.
What’s your favorite book?
If you mean favorite non-smut book, that’s a hard call. I’ve probably read The Catcher in the Rye more than any other book, but it’s so much a part of me now that I can’t be objective about it. For my favorite kinky book? Maybe Chalker’s The Identity Matrix, still. I found a copy when I was 15 or so and it wrecked my head.
What’s your favorite book that you’ve written?
Probably my novel He’s Stuck as a Schoolgirl. I had so much fun with the scrappy friendship between Joe, this wannabe wizard who accidentally turns himself into a little girl, and Tammy, a little girl who is a few years older than Joe and in some ways more mature. They both have some claim to being the “grown up” in the friendship, and they kind of take turns bossing each other around and taking care of each other. Those two really came alive for me and I missed them when the book was over.
What’s your favorite kink to write about?
It changes, but lately it’s been pregnancy and unbirth. I’ve definitely never wanted to have babies, but those subconscious urges are there… and, me being me, they’re coming out as all sorts of kinky fantasies.
Any future projects you’d like to promote?
I’m finishing up a novel called DOLLI: HE BECAME A FEMBOT MAID, set in the same universe as my book THE MAN WHO BECAME 1000 BIMBOS and my novella HE BECAME HER FEMBOT. Its tagline is “a novel of transgender transhuman transgression” and I think it should be lots of fun. Beyond that I plan to write a book based on my Youtube video DELIVER US, about a group of frat boys who are abducted and transformed into pregnant women. I have no shortage of ideas for books, it’s just a question of finding time to write them all!

Just discovered the works of Mindi and I’ve had a good laugh at the imaginative book titles. It’s nice to see some transgender titles as well, I love reading about tgirls.
Impressed with the writing as well – really good quality and a lot of fun to read.
